Lazy Summer Days!

Jaycen's 1st Hair Cut....

I decided it was time for Jaycen's hair cut, the hair on top was getting a bit wild. And plus Scott's first haircut was when he was 8 months old also (according to his baby book) so I figured, lets do it! I attempted to do it myself...which probably wasn't the best idea... didn't turn out that great.

He wasn't very happy about it either!

The Kitchen!

So the kitchen was actually the first room finished in the house. but, we always had the empty boxes stacked up in that area and stuff, so it wasn't picture worthy, well today (being the day before trash is dumped) we finally got rid of all those empty boxes and i snapped some pictures. so here is our new kitchen! love it!

School Clothes...

Well I figured it was time to start buying a little bit of school clothes each payday for Mikylee. So here is her first little bit of school clothes. She is so excited for kindergarten.
Notice in the picture below, the black capri's. We were smart and decided we'd better get some of those so when she wears dresses/skirts. She still hasnt quite got it down to remember that when she's in a dress/skirt to not lift her legs, or bend over, etc.

Landscaping...

So the house that we just moved into, has not had any landscaping done yet. But the landlords agreed to pay for the landscaping if we did it or hired out. So we have a landscaper named Rudy doing the work. We're having a sprinker system installed, rock put around the house and on the west side of the house. And then everything else will be sod! YAY For grass! lol. We also are getting a couple of trees, and later on some hedges around the whole property as a "fence". So here are the beginning pictures. I will take some of each day of progress and let you know how it's going. Also...on the west side, we're going to do our own little flower bed, so that we did something lol, and just for fun.

The east side again, and this ugly sign, that we're hoping we can get permission to take down.

The only thing done so far, they dug to expose the gas line, so that they can get the trenches out here for the sprinking system.

This is the mess of the water meter...it needs to be leveled out.

This is the west side of the house. Just a narrow path with Weeds and where all the meters are that have to be read. But up towards the road, we are going to do the flower bed right there.

Wow...

So Jaycen is just continuing this amazing streak...
today he started saying "Ba Ba" referring to his bottle.
And he's just so vocal. He talks and talks and talks while he's awake.
It is so funny just to sit there and listen to him go on and on.

So I have decided it is so funny and quit the coincidence that Jaycen seems to always have the biggest milestones on his month birthdays lol.
So the big milestones he did today (the day after he turned 8 months):
1. Said "Da-Da"
2. Tried soooo incredibly hard to crawl.
3. Rolled all the way over....over and over and over. lol.

Jaycen's 8 months old!!!

Well since Jaycen just had two professional picture sessions this past week, I didn't take any special pictures this time, but I did however have to take a picture of him with his sippy cup, we gave it to him for the first time today!!!
So as usual, below the picture is the 10 things I'm loving about him this month!

1. I LOVE that you have became so much more of a little person lately! Such a personality!

2. I love the way that you smile INSTANTLY whenever Mommy, Daddy, or Sister appears!

3. I love the way you always have to hold you leg/foot, it never fails!

4. I love the way you are so agressive with your bottle/sippy cup now!

5. I love the way that you are getting so CLOSE to sitting up on your own now!

6. I love that you love getting kisses!

7. I love when you giggle for absolutely no reason, out of nowhere!

8. I love the way you are obsessed with cell phones. Hillarious, gonna be just like your sis.

9. I love that you already show so much love for us, in the only ways that you can.

10. I love that you sleep all night long.

Sneak Peak

So Kay Reems Photography posted one picture for me, as a sneak peak...but that's it so far :( lol. Just kidding Kristin, I know you're hurrying. :) But I'm so excited to see them all!
But here's the ONE I have so far....

Kisha's 21!!!

So my best friend ever, Kisha, turned 21 last week (the 17th), and so we went to the club last night to celebrate. Here are a couple pictures! I love this girl, she's the best friend I could ever have! She's amazing! Love you Kisha and Happy 21st Birthday hun! :)
